hey, guess where i am? surprise surprise, in higher algebra.
i wanna start off with two questions my cush-teacher seriously asked today (without any laughing, even the other students didn't make fun of it, she was *** serious!!!)
-So, which is more? 3% of 5 million or of 50 tausend? (nobody rised his hand, until one guy, after like 20 secs said: 5 million.. but they were serious!!)
-Who of you has ever heard of the evolution theory? (she is asking a 11th grade if some of them have ever heard of the evolution theory??)
ok, next to that:
it's getting better and i feel less alone on my way from class to class, cause am always seeing familiar faces and have to say 'hey, how are you doing?-good! how about you?- good. c y later!' all the time (and it's like always the exact same conversation).
i had a chemx quiz today, we had to correct them and count the points we scored ourselves. i didn't really prepare it and scored 11/15. well, i worked pretty fast and didn't count the numbers (scientific notation) probably.
the guy sitting next to me had to correct like every single number and wrote 13/15 as his score. uhm.. sure!
oh, we're getting the ha tests back. 5/7.. what?? oh no.. i worked to fast and switched once slope and y-intercept around.. i'm such a... well, maybe i shouldn't graph by hand, guess she didn't like that either.. but next to that everything is good.
i got 88.5% on my homework, worked to fast, two stupid mistakes just as in the test. i gotta double check everything and read the tasks.
we're having another quiz now. well am not gonna double check it, because in algebra u always have to think through the whole thing again, so checking is like doing it twice and i rather like to start with my homework. i'll just hand it back, we'll c how it works out to be.

i had an awsome day, i was so happy, dunno why. it was nth special, lots of homework (and i still gotta do a lot) and the chem quiz kinda p***** me off.
i ran with the varsity team today (we weren't split up in groups like normal, because we did a long run, 59min (not an hour, no! just 59minutes) and i was sticking to the varsity team the whole time. well, the coaches didn't c it though, but if i can keep up with varsity, why can't they put me in JV?? am having practise with JV everyday, and i'm definitly not one of the slower JV runners.
am still kinda struggeling with the kids in my english class, they kinda don't like me.. well, a few are nice, but most of them are so.. cool, u know? it's not the kinda group i belong to, because english 11 g is a class everybody has to take, if he doesn't take a higher level. so am sitting in class with kids who think they r to cool (but actually just can't do it) to take a higher level.
well, next to that i had a great day.
but haven't been asked for homecoming yet =(
